As the founder and owner of Stateline Counseling Services LLC, Shelly Patchett has been serving the Rockford, IL and Beloit, WI areas for over 20 years. A licensed clinical social worker, Shelly's approach to providing services to adolescents, couples, adults, and families is relaxed, compassionate, and non-judgmental. Shelly has years of experience assisting individuals feeling troubled with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, anger and irritability, relationship problems, blended family conflicts, and traumatic experiences. Shelly has extensive experience providing group therapy for individuals struggling with social anxiety and women struggling with anger.

Carissa earned her Master of Social Work Degree with a clinical specialization from Aurora University in 2018. Her clinical experience includes individual and group counseling in different areas, including substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and relationship problems. Carissa uses an eclectic approach, utilizing solution focused therapy, strengths-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
